Beach Music – I saw Max Fried the other day just as he finished his beach run. As he sipped from a bottle of water, he told me, “When I’m running on the beach, I gotta have tunes. The problem is sometimes I want to hear music from my library. Other times I want to hear something different from what I already have. My solution? An FM radio\MP3Player. I could have bought an Ipod Nano but for 1/3 the price, I purchased a SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 8 GB MP3 player for $49.99.
The player is tiny but the audio is great, the FM reception is as good as any other radio I’ve used and I love the little clip on the back. The thing weighs less than an ounce so when I clip it on my swim suit and run, the player doesn’t even bounce. The downside is that it’s not waterproof. The upside is that I bought a 2 year warranty for eight bucks and change that covers, “Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) such as drops, spills, and cracked screens.” Best of all, I can buy three for the price of one Ipod Nano.”
